Recovery. Inspiration. Hope.
What will be remembered for years to come as a catastrophic flood offers us a great opportunity to work together as never before to create our new future, to redefine our role in the nation's forefront of health care quality and innovation. Watch this web site for tales of recovery, inspiration, and hope. Like a miracle, you'll see the hospital and everything around us clean up, rebuild and come together even better.

On Saturday, June 7, 2008, Columbus Regional Hospital was severely damaged by record flooding and storms that impacted many areas across Columbus, Indiana. Inpatient services at Columbus Regional Hospital remain closed. Many outpatient services are available at locations across the community and on the hospital campus.

An interim emergency department unit opened within a portion of our building on August 1, 2008 staffed by our same high quality emergency medicine physicians, nurses, and other professionals. Inpatient and surgical services will reopen within our building in October.

We thank our community for their support during this time and encourage you to continue to check our web site for updates on our great recovery progress and more information about our services.
